Nice build! (Did you know you can add kits from the database to a project and then add this album to that project? That way we can see what kit you used, and anybody checking that in the DB will see your finished project for reference as well!)

Looks good! Satisfying when you finish one of the "old dogs" is it not?

I have the new release of this in my stash. Quite excited to build it now I've seen this. You've done a great job. Did the P.E go in without hassle?

HI guys, thank you for the kind words. Yep, the White Ensign PE fit very well. Makes the kit a lot better in my opinion.

Thanks Mike. I was mid way through my build when I saw your magnificent Kingfisher in "Circuits and Bumps." That article really inspired me so thank you!

It's obvious you have spent some quality time on this bird.
Very well done. 🙂

Kerry, I did spend a lot of time on it. There were times I wanted to hurl it across the room! 😉
Thank you for the kind comments, Jens and Roberto.

John, I empathise with you about the hurling. 🙂 LOL.
Just when I think things have gone well, Mr Murphy decides to pay a visit. 🙂
You really have done exceptionally well with this bird. Congratz mate 👍👍

great work John, great model and the paint work is really good.

Hey John, your excellent work on this model has really been an inspiration for me on my Kingfisher. Could you tell me what you did to make your canopies look so good?

Thanks for the compliment, NLAW. That's going back a few years but I believe I used the Falcon replacement canopy parts. I'll add it to the project so you can check it out.

Thanks, J35J. I researched these particular markings and built this kit in 2010, well before Revell put them on their Monogram rebox of the 1/48 kit.

So I'm taking credit for their use of those markings! Haha.

Well, just ordered an ANCIENT looking pair of the falcon kits on ebay. Let's all pray it's the right type
