Worst Revell Kit ever as described by one Youtuber. Designed for some quick fun, and that's how I took it... I decided to see how far I could take it with no additions whatsoever 

Some painting of the basic cockpit 

My amateuristic rendering of the cockpit controls. As is, this kit does not come with cockpit decals and I did not want to add extra's, so I just winged it with a brush and a shaky hand and some reference photos. This was never gonna be ultra realistic and can hardly be seen, just didn't want it to be empty 

some prep on the inside (wheel bays and fuseelage) 

Assembled, putty'd up and panel lines scribed ready for it's black basing 

Black based with squiggly bits, this was fun 

Light grey coat on and ready for dark gray paint. Metallic paints were already done at this point, but sadly no photo of that stage 

The finished paint job with decals and clearcoat.  

 

 

 

 

 

Camo lines need more care on the next model, and those rockets need repositioning. Realized I omitted the reflective stripes. Also clearly shows the gap in the canopy, which is a molding defect that is part of this kit.
