Bristol M.1C

Bristol M.1C C4995, with a checkered red white and blue fuselage 

I used Blender to load the 3D files from a M.1C found at thingiverse.com/thing:4139803.
I had to make pieces, thicken them, make holes, and paint the checkered texture, as it will help me later.
 

I transfered the stl files to PreForm, so I can print it on a FormLabs Form 3 resin printer. 

This is the resin print in white resin.  

Not all pieces are there. Some will be standard styrene, others will be scratch built. Some, like the undercarriage, are too weak, so they are used only to take measurements. 

Here are most of the pieces, together with masks.
Engine 110 hp Le Rhône 9 cylinder stolen from the Eduard Camel, as well as the seats
Prop stolen from a Eduard S.E.5. Wheels stolen from a Fokker.
Masking paper is 810 Oramask.
Cut on a cricut, and as you see, the blade was not very sharp, but nothing that duplicates can help so I can always pick the best ones.
I am still unsure if this is a good idea to fully mask the squares one by one. If it is not, at least it gives me measurements. 

Looks like the black resin is too brittle. Anyway, too fragile, let's scratch build the undercarriage. 

I borrowed an undercarriage from a BE2 I have, extended with some 0.5mm circle tube, and seal the gap with sprue glue. 

I cut the fuel pump from an unused piece from a Sopwith Camel I have. I manage to keep the braces, yay. 

I am mixing some deck tan with yellow to get a wood tint for the cockpit. The plan is to seal it with some X-26 clear orange and X-18 smoke, to see if I can get a nice quick wood color.  

Resin print layers actually game some "grains", so I am panel-lining it so I can enhance the grains.
