The white wash was just that. slopped on and brush marks going in all directions, as it was usually done in a hurry, 'on the run' so to speak, so you really can't get it wrong as it was not an exacting thing to do. Just rough and virtually no chipping, but more streaks where the rain or snow has melted from the warmth of the engine cover/bonnet. 👍. Then all underneath was just a pile of mud and crap; 🙂
