@ Treehugger: The original Revell tooling dates from 1958 (apparently without scale specification). In 1995 and 2011 they were reissued. At both reissues Revell said it is scale 1:54, but this is wrong.
The correct scale is 1:48 (convert the dimensions of the original truck and you have the right scale).
The original truck measures 7.74 meters, converted to the 1:48 scale it is 16.12 cm, the model is 16.25 cm in length (difference 13 mm). In scale 1:54 the model would have to be 14.33 cm in length. I have no idea why Revell said it is scale 1:54.

Nice work & a lot of added effort to get a great result, you washed the age off that kit with style 👍
Also - I know it´s a different truck - it totally brought my memory back to this:

Whow! That's an awesome truck and I like the refinements you added to it! 👍 What was the base kit you started from?

Honest John with Mobile Carrier (Revell H-1821, 1:54)
Is it this one?

wow that is something else indeed! what a great result from these ancient molds.....can you share how you made the Kenworth letters from foil?

@ Wim: The KENWORTH logo is already present on the model, beautifully reproduced by Revell in scale 1:48.
Simply pasted with bare metal foil and then the model painted. After the paint job was dry, gently polish the individual letters with cotton swabs so that the chrome foil reappears.
