Hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Toll was du draus gemacht hast! Der Basisbausatz scheint ja eher von der ernüchternden Sorte zu sein.

That's great - thanks for the info. The impression of the wheels in the standard kit are amazing. I was also looking for the Ferrari 125 F1 in 1:24 as on the box art but cannot find anything...

... although the spokes are a piece of clear plastic, but some dry painting can help (a little)

After seeing your builds. I bought 2x the 159 kits to build both versions and the Talbot Lago as they are good VFM IMO. I also bought the PE mesh you showed as it really makes a difference. How did you cut out the grille ie any tips appreciated

Have fun Paul 🙂, the mesh was soft, so a bigger blade (Olfa) and also a scissors (have only a small nail scissor) cut it well, no problems, cutting out from the original part and moulding the mesh was somewhat more challenging...
