Basically out of the box. Just used some spare decals I had and the kit decals. Decals drying and then I'll do some more weathering. I also envisioned it more as a dirt car so I left the windows out and added a Little Rock screen for the driver.

That is awesome ! I was contemplating getting the Stocker series but was on the fence, seeing this awesome work of art has influenced my decision to a definite yes 👍 !

Thanks Bob!! Honestly just a really fun little kit. And the new ones come with great decals and super nice pad printed tires. The old molds seem to have hold up relatively well for MPC work. Light flash but no real fitment issues. I also have the 64 Galaxie and 65 Impala from older releases of the same series. Nice to be able to take a build 0% seriously

Great work. I am in process of building the same kit. I want to dirty it up a bit to give it that dirt track feel. Your pictures have helped me understand the instructions better. Places were a bit vague.

Thanks James!! It's not a bad old kit. Instructions could use an update for sure, I know what you mean. I did have to use a touch of heat on the chassis but it came back square pretty easy. Other than that mine fit pretty well. If you have any other questions or need any pictures of anything specific just let me know.

Will do, I see your chassis must have been twisted as well, I am trying to keep mine strapped tight to a board as I assemble the components on top of it . I have no idea if that will work or not. I am a little reluctant to apply heat just yet.

Indeed. I have used hot water. I believe I used a hair dryer in this particular instance. 🤷🏻♂️ Mine really wasn't bad. Just wanted to pull the front wheel ever so slightly.

Album info
Figured I’d get some pictures up now that I’m almost done with it. Just used a mix of extra decals and kit decals.
