Partial assembly before painting of all the parts. I'm building this OOTB. No extras added.

The figures of the set is fairly well detailed, but lacks the kind of crispness that you will find in ICM kits.

The AA guns painted with Mr.Metallic Color 214 Dark Iron and buffed up afterwards.

Base layer of light grey for the toy soldiers.

As usual I start with the skin color for the faces and hands.

All parts black based and marbled before laying on the paint.

The top decal came on finally. It comes in a number of parts, but as the surface of the top of the turret is so uneven, it still requires alot of fitting. There are some cracks that need to be fixed.

Some hand painting fixed the cracks and I'm happy enough with the result.

All the parts painted with a matt clear laquer ready for assembly and weathering.

The tracks are in place! Really fiddly work getting there, but worth the effort. 🙂

Everything is weathered and I consider the tank finished. The turret and hull will be separated, so I can get to the mechanism to alter the elevation of the guns.

Next update. I have painted and assembled most of the hull and turret and applied the decals and done som pin washes. The top decal of the turret was a bit of a pain, but it went on finally. Next will be assembling the tracks and then some weathering.

Next will be painting the crew and the bonus french (?) peasant.
