I'm really enjoying exploring these 1/144 scale armor models. This is the first UStar kit I've built and its been a pleasure. The injection mold plastic is really good quality with great fit overall. In retrospect I should have shaved the smaller parts on the turret closer, but it was hard to judge the fit until it was held in place. I think my recommendation to those who come after is to use some blue-tac or putty to get better perspective. There are several reference sources available, but an equally wide variety of color schemes. Though I've seen some kits and some pictures with feathered edges and others with solid, I chose to airbrush and be happy. I won't be surprised if someone points out that it isn't prototypical. One thing I wish I had was decals or lettering. This tank could pop if it had some markings/stencils I think. Thanks for visiting
