Nicely done James! You certainly didn't play it safe for your first

Cheers Doubtingmango, I remember spaying it twice as I didn't use thinners and it came out like artex 🙂 Then I just threw washes on and off then rubbed Master set pigments on and off until I was happy.

I think the model looks very realistic. I feel the atmosphere through which this technique has passed. Very powerful for the first model!

Thanks for your kind words Kyrylo. It was only my first Armour kit. Lots of planes came and went before it 🙂

Love the weathering, Mr. James. This is one of my favorite vehicles. Outstanding in its desert weathering.

Thanks Chris, glad you liked it. My early attempt at weathering and a bit of touch up after a bit of knowledge 🙂

This is the kind of first afv build painted finish that create addition to any modeler and motivates to repeat the pleasure. Well done 👍

Well thank you for your kind words Rui. Much appreciated from your good self.
Even though I painted and weathered it years ago, I did touch it up as I got a bit better at modelling.

Album info
This was my first 1/35 Scale model kit I bought and built, about 12 odd years ago, followed by a long break until recently.
Also, my first AFV, my first painted figure, first use of an airbrush and first attempt at weathering techniques.
I used Vallejo washes and Tamiya weathering Sets A,B & E for all the colour variations.
The dust is spayed on XF-57 and Vallejo pigment.
