Neat, Kitbash or scratch? You could take YF-19 Parts for the fins...

Hey Matt,
it will probably a bit of a mix. For engine nozzle I am considering F-22 resin nozzles from Aires.
For the canards and the other control surfaces I will try to scratchbuild/modify those with plasticard.

Hi, it's my model dream! About one year ago I found on the web that in 2017 at a Japanese model fair this conversion kit was sell for the "regular " Platz F-15J : hobbycom.jp/my/a24976397f/photo/products/35990
I tried write to various Mandarake and Akiba shops but nothing…
So right now the next model after the Silent Eagle is the Kai plus: I'll use the platz kit+ the F-15 active hasegawa canards

Hi Kenshiro, and welcome to Scalemates.
I get what you mean, the aircraft just looks awesome.
I was looking for some kind of conversion kits, too but had no luck yet either. So some kitbashing and scratchbuilding will be necessary The initial kit I was going to use was not the best choice, and I will use a F-15J instead. Which also saves me the need to procure additional decals for modern japanese aircraft.
Looking forward to your future projects. 👍
