This Bf 109 K-4 served during the last months of WWII in Czechoslovakia. The red tulip identifies it as an aircraft of JG 52. Probably it was piloted by the famous Erich "Bubi" Hartmann. Other sources relate it to Hermann Graf. Also for the colour profile exist different camouflage schemes. There are variations from RLM76 (version 1 to 3, under fuselage and sides), RLM74/RLM75 or RLM02/RLM80/RLM81/RLM82/RLM83/RLM84 (did it exist?), upper fuselage and wings. I decided to use one of the latest camo schemes that were officially introduced: RLM81/RLM82 and RLM76, late versions. Aluminium parts of wings underside were kept in NMF.
