I'm pretty sure the "damage to the moving control surfaces" is actually supposed to represent doped cloth and is not damage at all.

Taking a seat too. I have seen a great photo of a plane of this type that landed on the field with no damage (in the book from "Ali d'Italia" series, to be strict)... just a suggestion for a dio 😉

Yes, the scratches are supposed to represent doped fabric. But doped fabric doesn't look like that and especially not in 1:72

Looks great, and I'm sure the real thing wasn't always perfectly level on its cart, nor was it always on perfectly level ground. Looks like that kit is a challenge! The sunburst pattern is very striking.

Great result Max. I like the sunburst pattern especally. Perhaps you can hide the tilted wing with a small base (like a ramp or a slipway).
