The resin parts aren't tiny, they're "accurately to scale." Once you build a few hundred of these (such as fools like me do) you'll get used to it! 🙂

A truly wonderful choice you did, Philip!
The Starfighter, so s*xy as all jets of the sixty's, is also on my Top Ten "To do" list!
The BAF F- 104 coloursheme is nice and I will stay tuned this thread!

@Dirk, thanks mate, I love the colorsheme of the BAF F104, this is one of the most beautiful planes all time
@Michel, there is a lot of work on the Verlinden set and the CMK update set, the fit is not that good so I will try to make the best of it😉

LoL i give you much respect for 72nd scale!! Sometimes its hard enough with 1:48
11 August 2013, 02:59

What a great paintjob! Hang in there Buddy, this is gonna become cool!
11 August 2013, 03:24

Thanks Derek, you are right Derek, it's sometimes hard enough on a 48 scale model but the details on a 72 scale are just the same and sometimes you must try somethings different.
@Holger, thanks mate but there is stil a lot to do, there is a instruction book for the decals, 3 decals sheets! and this on a 72 scale model.

Der mr.Philip De Keyser.Photo No. 12-15 lines of begrime way for me to explain., And how to work
11 August 2013, 11:32

Thanks mates for the nice comment
@Shahram, what you see on pictures 12-15 it's what they call pre-shade, when you paint the basic color the black color will shine true the basic color and give more live to the paintjob, there are many ways to get to this effect, this one is just one of the methode😉

@Dirk, the resin operation was a difficult one, the fit of the CMK set is not that perfect 🙁 , still I'm happy with the result.

@ Philip:
I`ve used many conversion and updates from CMK.
I don`t remember that fit only one!
So it is noteworthy, that you used one in Braillescale!
