It looks like the Academy kit 🙂 although it is very hard to distinquish between Tamiya and Academy 😉 easiest is that the Academy kit is missing the bolts on the rails on the roof, while the Tamiya kit has two bolts on each rail on the roof. Since I (think I) don't see the bolts there, it has to be the Academy kit 🙂
Absolutely great job on the weathering, Vitor 👍 your friend will be happy! 😄

Plus that the title says "Hetzer - Academy 1/35" ... duhh ... 😠
I didn't even notice that until just now 😄 lol

Great work so far mate! Do the masks Academy gives you with the kit work well?
6 May 2014, 16:07

Hello friends
Thank you again 😄 Urban yes they are a little bit messed at the start but then… its easy to understand the concept.
One question, do you guys (and girl 😄 ) like to see tanks with mud (lots of it) or only with dust?
Well i like to see 10% of mud only and the rest with dust, i think the mud cover lots of paint details, ok its easier to work with but… what is your opinion? Mud on the Hezter or 10%/90% mud/dust?
thank you 😄
7 May 2014, 14:37

To me the best for this tank is 90% and 10%, the Hetzer is small... "surplus" mud covered details
7 May 2014, 15:11

Honestly and personally, I don't like a lot of mud. It's like you said: it hides quite a bit of painted detail if a lot of it is added.
On the other hand, it really does depend on the environment / diorama setting. If the location is Russia during wet / colder seasons, you can't really avoid adding a lot of mud 😉
But I like a dusty vehicle with a small amount of (dried) mud in the tracks and on the wheels best 🙂
Again, this is really just my personal opinion and I think you should do whatever pleases YOU! But from what you said, I think we pretty much have the same opinion 👍
7 May 2014, 17:37

I like mud but only when it's appropriate as I like dust more but then I do like the desert enviroment as well.
7 May 2014, 18:33

Nice!! The tracks are lifting the model to a whole new dimension of awesomeness! 😄
8 May 2014, 15:07

Really yummie, Vitor!👍
Are the mudsplashes made with brush, airbrush and pigments?
8 May 2014, 15:08

Lookin' great mate but you seem to have forgotten to paint the guns bore opening.
8 May 2014, 16:14

Thank you 😄
Holger, almost that, only pigments and pigment fixer, i make my one mud 😄 and sure the airbrush and brush were there too.
I added some more pictures, showing today's work, mud, grime and lots of dirtiness on the wheels… now i applied an gloss coat and I'm let dry for a couple of yours… tomorrow i will star the display base… something with herbs and grass and… surprises 😄 😄
Thank you once more for you feedback, I'm glad you like it 😉
8 May 2014, 20:48

Its late now, so tomorrow i will post some more pictures, I'm going to let the mat coat dry and then i will take some pictures to share here.
see you 😄
8 May 2014, 23:43

I didn't forgetten, but since i wanted to paint it with mate black i left that to the end, but you did well to tell me you never know 😄 😄
8 May 2014, 23:52

Sweet! The only question I have is: Did you rifle the bore of the muzzle before you painted it? 🙂
All right, I'll get my coat...
