This will be a nice build Soon. 🙂 And take John's advice too. Take it easy mate, as it's only half the modelling world looking on LOL 🙂

Turns out the photoetch seat belts were insufficient; missing lap belts etc.
I've just uploaded 2 photos showing before-after adding masking tape bits.

Thanks for following. I've added hydraulic lines to the landing gear.
Also scratch-built the refuelling port for the starboard bay.

The mis-numbering of the parts in the instruction is really slowing me down. Terrible QA, Kitty Hawk.

Mr Yee. 🙂 I remember the 1/72 Hasegawa Jag and in particular, the Box Top art work, and I am wondering what the paint scheme is you have in mind for your 1/48 version here, which I will add is really starting to look so good, and all that extra detail is really nice to see. Congrats mate 🙂

Thanks Kerry, I will be doing the 2-tone Chad (desert) scheme from the box art.
From what I've read from other builds, the paint callout diagram is also wrong (blue for the undersides; should be silver).

Thanks for following, Clifford.
Here's part 5 of my build log. I've painted the bare-metal sections using Alclad II lacquers.

Nice work so far Soon. Such a cool aircraft. Used to control these things back in the 80's until they got replaced by Tornadoes.
