Unbelievable details. Guess a steady hand a lot of patience and a bit of madness is required to get this done😉
Very well done and one of my favourites here on Scalemates 👍 👍 👍

Thank you very much! From Aerobase the Spirit of St Lois is done and the Lilienthal glider in my stash.

Sorry for the late answer, but I was on the road for some days ... Compared to the Eduard Stripdown series the Aerobase kits are much easier to build due to thicker brass (0,3mm instead of 0,15mm). For some details this is a bit to thick.

it isn't that hard, most important things I've found are cleaning up the parts (no corrosion), use some flux and clean good afterwards, let the temperature do its work and use as little solder as you can. I have a tutorial in dutch, maybe I can translate

Thanks Bart. I think my main issue is to use small-enough tip for my soldering gun, and a way to hold the parts during soldering. And, of course, practice practice practice...

This is too cool Frank. I know it's an old build but I live not far from where the Wright brothers are originally from so it's a subject I gravitate towards.

Album info
This is a Strip down from aerobase, which is much easier to build compared to the Eduard strip downs due to thiker brass. It was soldered too and painted with Gunze and the wood by using Oil colors. The rigging on the instructions was not complete, but the model allows a full rigging. The figure, the bicycle and the base are part of the kit too.
