I have this kit, and the two-seat version, in my stash. I'll be watching as this progresses. Nice start! 👍

Not the easiest kit in my opinion, rather vague instructions from time to time. But definitely satisfying when the sub-assemblies fit together.

It has its positives and negatives to publish the building progress here, much harder just to put the kit aside (with the other wrecks) when it gets too hard; the positive comments are very nice though! So, no project report on the MPM Messerschmitt Me 262 Mistel (Mistel 4)... It will be safely-ish put aside for the time being...

Nice project, would be nice to see how it builds up as I have one in my stash as well

nice progress, instructions take a lot of educated guesses as it looks....

As it turns out not all of my guesses have been up to my supposed educational level... Pity when it is primarily the outer skin that suffers...

I've considered buying this kit – was the end result worth the pain of the build? It looks like you have made an very good job of it.

gorbygould, I love the plane, but I'm not sure I would build this kit again. The instructions are not very clear at times and (partly due to my misunderstandings I think) the main components of the body, especially the wings, were tricky to put together. And the undercarriage is a combination of mad over engineering from both the original plane and the kit maker...

nice build, and now that you know where the problems are... just the moment to build a second one 😉

Thanks for the information Hans. I also like the 229 and unfortunately there isn't much choice in 1/48. The Zoukei-Mura is out of my price range, so it's Dragon or nothing. 🙁
