Album info
This is the second Great Wall Eagle I have built, the first being the F-15B MiG killer of the IDF and am very impressed with it. Only fault I can find is that the Python missiles touch the tanks and are very close to the bombs. Also the AAQ-14 would foul the U/C door so needs moving forward slightly.
Built OOB, brush painted using Xtracolour enamels and the Sufa colours of Tan FS30219, Green FS34424 and Sand FS33531 over Light Compass Grey FS36375 and weathered with a dark Flory wash.
Decals are kit, with the exception of the fin Eagles, which are Isradecal as the GW ones are not the correct FS33531 Sand. Instrument decals are supplied for the cockpit.
There is a small PE fret for engine faces, rear black lights, some grills and panels.
War load is
1 x GBU-31 on centreline.
3 x GBU-38 on Port conformal tank pylons.
4 x GBU-12 Starboard conformal tank pylons.
2 x 610 gal tanks.
2 x AIM-120B on outer wing tank pylon.
2 x Python 4 on Inner wing tank pylon.
Port intake has an AAQ-14 pod with an AAQ-13 pod on
