Well other than too much sun light on for the pics it looks o.k , with the exception of no paint on the hood around the blower. To me, I decide if it's a show car/ or new, or a street car. In my case with Dukes of hazard it was a stunt car and was worn with new paint. So it depends on what you're trying for as to what's needed. I use many reference pics to do what I do, as well as I used to be a mechanic. As with all models details make it pop. Since I'm not in competition I only toy with the under carriage. The body, interior, and engine compartment is where you can wake it up. For what it's worth I'm doing the 71 Cuda now that you might pick up a few things from. Well that's my 2 cents worth for now, hope it helps.

Thanks Tim!
Yeah I forgot about the hood opening after I painted the colour, I had planned to paint that Matt black to make he hood look thinner.
The sun is insane here today I just did the pix outside so the colour changing paint would show up.

You nailed the stance. I agree, it is hard to discern the color due to the lighting. I will be interested in viewing it when the lighting is more subdued.

Thanks Bill, I'll find some shade now I've mastered loading pix like a pro 🙂

Well, I shot some pix on my iPhone 7 cos that's all I had, when we got some shade today (yeah I know, too much sun in England, who'd have thought it!) but the pix come out just as poor.
It could be that colour change flake paint, it just doesn't photograph well at all.
No matter, it's coming apart soon & getting very yellow & some 17/18" Halibrand style rims & tyres to make a copy of my own Challenger.

I love that stuff, I used the Purple/Green Metallic on a 94 Mustang GT. I look forward to your next endeavor with this Challenger.

Yeah it looks great Bob but I can't seem to get it to photograph well at all.
No matter, it's going Ford Daytona Yellow very soon (I know...... Ford paint on a Mopar, I'll go to hell for this) just like my full size one.
I've got another Jap made Challenger waiting to start on, a Revell 68 Charger R/T is giving up its 440 & 4 speed for that.

You need to paint it Lambo orange! LOL! Nice looking challenger, what engine do you have in it?
30 June 2019, 21:35

Haaha I was waiting for that!
It's got a built 440 & a 4 speed, rips off mid 12's all day long, I love commuting in it when I'm not biking
30 June 2019, 21:59

I said the same thing about paint, when I but Ford Pearl Blue on my 1970 Super Bee ! Blasphemy I know ! LOL
30 June 2019, 22:17

Shame on you two! LOL! Sweet ol' 440!! I've got a real 79 trans am 400 cid/6.6 liter 3.42 diff and a Tremic 5 speed in it. Without knowing I had 2 cylinders out I ran a 13.56. Still haven't fixed that!

So this Ford guy, a mopar guy and GM guy walk into a bar...………….LOL! I love the new technology ,but there's something about building those old ones up.
1 July 2019, 03:49

It'll have to be a bar in Switzerland, it's the only neutral ground I can think of & the beers great!
We have some real car guys here don't we?
I was totally obsessed with US cars when I was a kid in the 70's, drawing them, collecting all the little 1/64 die casts, I had Redlines & Mag wheels imprinted on my brain.
Thats what got me modelling in the first place, I must've completed every Monogram 1/24th street/custom/drag offering in their catalog!
I've got a yard full of US cars (real ones) & building my model stash up nicely.

Album info
Mild street custom made from an old Lindberg kit many years ago, I might pull it apart & do it over.
I’m hoping you experienced modellers will spot my all to obvious errors & give me some advice on how to make better models.
I won’t be offended if you laugh your heads off, honest 🙂
