Sweet! I really like all that streaking! 👍
Is that some kind of "Demonstration" aircraft? It also has Aeronautica Militare roundels.

Hi WhiteGlint 🙂 thanks for commenting on my latest build 👍 I'm afraid it's me taking my usual artistic licence... Again! It's broadly correct, but not quite. Sorry! Naughty me! 😆

No need to apologize, Neil.
I was just curious. Besides, this is hobby and we can do whatever we want, which is one of the best and most fun part of this hobby.

Hi James C! Thanks for commenting on my latest build, appreciated 👍

Awesome! Even though I'm an American fighter jet guy, the Typhoon is wicked cool. It just looks tough. Great work my friend!

When I see something italian, I can only appreciate. Grat job guy !!!

@Flight Line Media 🙂 thanks very much indeed 👍 🙂 Yeah, you guys deffo have the coolest inventory. I'd agree for sure. But when we first started seeing flight demos at airshows of the Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen, all similar stuff timewise there wasn't much comparable imo, they just 'danced' - maybe those jets are uniquely European 😉

Hi Arif, hope you're well mate 👍 thanks for the feedback, always welcome from you 😊 cheers!

Thanks Ludwig, Gary, Jeff, Laurent "HELLER-forever, Alec k, Stefan, Daniel Clink, Ignacy, Martin and Rui Rodriguez 😊👍

Beautiful result with a pretty crappy kit 🙂 The good thing about it is that it has not too many parts, so theres limited fit issues 😉

Thanks Petr. And yes Daniel you're right 👍 I was building a Zhengdefu A10 simultaneously and that was indeed a pain by comparison to this kit all went together pretty tightly and then it's all about the paint which is my favourite part 😁

Thanks Charlie, Alex and Arif 🙂 and thanks also for the likes mates 👍

Hi Hugh 🙂 thanks very much indeed. That's very kind of you to make such a comment 👍

Fantastic job Neil, love the streaking on the wings and the preshading is just right 👍🏻

Hi Rui! Hope you're well mate 🙂 Thanks very much for your kind words and thanks all for the recent likes guys, appreciated also 👍

Thanks very much Gorby 🙂 and Neuling - that means a lot also... I regularly admire how (both) you guys present your brilliant builds 👍

Good paint job!
Like the way how you used the washes, creates nice effects 👍

Hi Simon, wow! You're very kind. Much thanks for the like and your comments on this build 👍 thanks for the likes also to others 😊👍

Hi Rui, hope you're well. Thanks very much mate! Super kind 👍and also to those for recent likes 🙂
Album info
Hi there,
Thanks for stopping by to view my latest build #15 the EF2000 Typhoon.
I build straight 'out-of-the-box' endeavouring to show my build journey in as few photographs as possible - this is my reason for utilising montage imagery to help reduce the image count of an album.
Kit appraisal: As a vintage builder who doesn't use after-market parts, I cannot use something newer and better manufactured to make an old kit look more realistic. I guess you'd say I'm creating an artistic representation of the aircraft. This build was a straight forward experience. There are some minor troublesome areas to fit and I made a bit of a hash of the forward fuselage, but the end result came together OK.
I always enjoy an Italeri kit, they were my preferred (and affordable) 1/72 choice as a child - so a build takes me back to my youth.
This build was uploaded on the 3rd September 2021.
I hope that the you find my build journey informative. 🙂
