This time something different.
A very simple kit, snap fit like, with movable parts for many poses! Primed with white acrylic primer. Then an ocean gray is used like a post shading / under layer.
After the primer the model painted with 2 coats of cork brown and the base with earth tone. Then the belly and the and the inner parts of the legs were painted with a mix of basic flesh with a bit of medium flesh. After that the base of the bones of the tail and a part of the outer legs were painted with sand brown and desert yellow. Then as a highlight the belly and the inner parts of the legs were sprayed with thinned basic flesh.
Experiments with brown and gray tones took their place in order to make the dino to like like it had rough times. Then a mix with some sand tones, mostly from US modern vehicles with Ivory made a perfect Bone color. The bones on the back were painted with brush, and then what else, but a pedicure just for fun I had painted the claws pink. Just to highlight the surrounding flesh of the claw. The same approach was used to all other bones. Also I made a scar to one front leg. All bones were painted by brush about 3-4 times each with a bone mix that I made from paint left overs. Around the spikes I painted a pink filter in order to imitate the flesh. The same way the head was painted. Eyes, mouth lips and some blood drops in the mouth. Also a few paint drops to the base. the model was varnished and the some weathering with oils and washes
