January 8, 2023Sprues fresh from their bath. I know, it isn't necessary to wash the sprues any more, but I do it anyway.2
January 9, 2023Cockpit parts painted and hair spray chipped.3
January 9, 2023Same here.4
January 9, 2023Basic air frame assembled. Showing the nice seam on the top of the fuselage. Also, you can see that the wing roots where not that great either.5
January 9, 2023If you zoom in you can see how bad the wing join is at the area by the landing gear fairing.6
January 9, 2023Belly shot here you can see how the wing to fuselage join and the rear fuselage seam required a bit of fill and sanding.7
January 9, 2023The original kit part had the nose guns looking like a couple of corks glued onto a flat plate. I couldn't leave it that way. I drilled them out and replaced with some small steel tubing from the junk box.8
January 8, 2023As of late I have tried to provide historical relevance to my builds. By that I mean, who was the man who flew this machine? How did he do? In this case it was R.T. Smith who had 8.9 victories with his time with the AVG in China. Therefore his picture is affixed to the display base.9
