Über mich

On my third time around in the world of models. Started around 7 or 8, and built dozens of the old Monogram, Revell, and Airfix kits, which all went down in a glue soaked and cherry bomb blaze of glory. Second time around was when I joined the Coast Guard and was stationed in Virginia and lived a block from the greatest model shop ever (Denbigh Hobby Center). Built close to a hundred kits, which were all left behind at the station when I remarried and decided to have kids(4 girls), definitely no time or money for models. Got back into modeling in 2006 when the kids were old enough that I could find some time for myself, and have been at it ever since. I work exclusively in 1:72 aircraft and 1:35 armor. I do a lot of scratch building and modification, especially on the older kit, don't think I have done a OOB kit in over a decade.
