The T-54 was the MBT in the egyptian army during the 1973 war. It was upgraded later on and manufactured in Egyptian military factories under the name Ramses II. It's still operating uptodate but as training tank or light fighting tank, the ABRAMS is the MBT now & maybe the T-90 will conquer all 😄
The SKIF was a good kit, the instructions are not that good and took my lot of modification and repairs. The kit came with no figures, I had to match this driver figures to suit the tank. The diorama or base is a scratch built base which I'm using it for taking apropriate pictures to my models. I'll be preparing another diorama for that tank, mostlikely to be used during the "cahos" that started in 25-01-2011 when the army had to secure the cities from the external interferances in the Egyptian internal affairs and the country spent 03 years in political cahos ans disorder.
The painting was done using the french Pebeo acrylic colors.
