Coming back to modelling after a long break getting married/having a family etc. I mainly build 1/144 military aircraft both old and new, would love to build bigger, but just don't have the space to display them ! My skill level is probably a little above basic and is coming back but there is so much that's available these days I'm learning all over again 🙂 tend to build kits that either just interest me or have memories from building them back as a boy in the 70's (when I could have 1/72 and larger kits). I don't worry too much about the actual accuracy of kits as such, I know the older ones often have the wrong shapes for parts or raised rivets/panel lines but in my eyes if it looks like the plane its supposed to be its good enough for me 🙂 99% of what I build is built straight OOB
