I’ve been making LOTS of 1/35th modern and WW2 era 'Military Minatures' as a schoolboy until ~2008 (I was 12 back then), when I just abruptly stopped.
I decided to get into plastic modeling again. This time it will be:
-1/35th armor & vehicles, as I still have some NIB kits left over from the 2000s
-2/24th cars, as I’m a car guy now
-dabbling in 1/48th armor, as I never had a chance to try it.

I started making plastic model kits in early 2000s when I was about 7 or 8 with typical cheap, low quality 1/72nd choppers and modern planes. I advanced really quickly to high quality models (mostly Tamiya & DML), airbrushing and good paints, as my Dad was very fond of my newfound hobby.
About 2008, at my peak skill level (winning local and international competitions In 'under 18' class, quite a skilled weatherer), just out of the blue, I quit. TBH, I still don’t really know why.
Some time before I quit, I got the recently released 'Late Model' Tiger I from Dragon that I decided to start assembling when I’ll reach the skill level necessary.
Just before quitting I thought that I was ready to make it. However, as I abruptly left the hobby, I didn’t even start it.
The kit has 'haunted' me for the last decade, I became a petrolhead in the meantime, and quite recently decided to pick up modeling again.
I will assemble 1/35th armor (in order to get 'In shape' again before starting the dreaded Dragon’s Tiger I); do some 1/24th race and civilian cars (as I’m now a car guy), and maybe just dabble a bit in the category of 1/48th armor (as it wasn’t really available in my local hobby shop when I was a kid).
