HMS Spiraea

Building this kit as she may have been at the end of a rough escort mission.
I rate the kit as OK. The attach points on even small parts are massive making it difficult to remove the part from the sprue. Locator tabs are basically nonexistent. I used Blackcat boats and davits and PE stairs from the parts box.
I intend on mounting her in a seascape. The AA guns are shown covered to protect them from the weather. The windows in the wheelhouse are opened and filled with PVA which dries clear.
I screwed up the decals so I ordered replacements. The weathering, which is quite heavy, is a combination of acrylic, washes, and pencils. The rigging is in progress with EZLine. She's almost ready to meet her seascape also in progress.
