Personal interest:
This model represents a specially modified OV-10D operated by the US Department of State Air Wing. I often provided weather briefings to OV-10D pilots transiting from Patrick AFB to various forward operating locations throughout Latin America. These aircraft were equipped with commercial crop dusting equipment used to spray herbicide on drug fields. The OV-10 was selected for the counter-drug mission because it featured an armored cockpit to protect pilots from small arms fire.
