Thank you all! Very kind. I use the tartan technique also for maps, flags and so on.

Very nice overall, but the neatly painted tartan is the high-light for me. Can you elaborate on how you did this, please?

@ Bruce - Cf. the instructions of Miniart 35165 "British Officers", here on Scalemates. On the backside of the packaging there is a piece of tartan as an template. I have cut it out and soaked it in lukewarn water. After a few minutes I have rubbed the wet cardstock away from the backside carefully. So I have got a thin printed foil with the tartan on it. I have glued the foil with white glue on the front of the figure (not water soluble!) and used a clothespin to get the round form. After drying: Matt varnish took away the shine. The backside of the kilt is only blue and green colour - nobody will see.
One problem: the cutting edges will appear white, so you have to colour them with a blue or green pencil.
I hope this description is helpful. Greatings TT

The jeep commando car by Italeri, used in this diorama, i it's not valid for the Afrikan theater. This configuration was used only at the end of the war in Europe, more or less from 1944 until 1945. Could be valid (more or less) if you , at least, eliminate the from armor, add other spare wheel at the rear of the vehicle and add two bars in the center of the engine grid.
