I'm jumping in. I have a few cars to do, in winter. It's a good way for me to practice new techniques and new paints. Gotta love those flames though! Classic style is definitely still rockin!

Welcome Bozzer. The flames were in very sad shape after years of moldering away in the box. So they won't be getting used

I've never been able to "Freehand" flames. I believe that it's a gift, or a skill? Mine always look like seaweed, that's been thrown up, by a whale! 😄

Sweet Vicky ! I wish they made a 4 door 34 Ford. That was Bonnie an d Clyde's car, it's at the Ranger museum in Waco. Would be an easy build kit, glue it together and stab it a thousand times with a hot needle ! Looking forward to seeing the finished product !

This is a nice enough kit. There are some things I'd approach differently if I were to build it again but I'm happy with it. Just a fun build that I added basically nothing to. Parts bin Ford 390 dropped into the cramped engine bay. Solder used to create a side dump exhaust. Everything else right out of the kit. I wanted to use the wire wheels but I also wanted it a little hopped up so I went with the skinny white walls out front and some more modern fatter tires out back for sort of a homemade, weekend warrior style drag pack.
