I started building this kit many years ago. Now I´ll make a new try to finish it. Some parts are missing, others are broken. The last try is 3 years ago. At that time I made some weathering and painting at the boat, the MG´s and Oerlikon. This time I hope for more patience. 🙂
Some new pics will follow.

Hi Acki, nice shot. The MG on Starboard is manuel or automatical used? Do you know that?

Nee, nicht ganz.😢
Starboard= Steuerbord
Port= Backbord
Stern= Bug
Bow= Heck

The canon at the bow (thanks Holger!) is an Oerlikon. It was manuel used.

Momentan werden eher Menschenteile aus dem Maschsee gefischt. 🙁
The Oerlikon looks very big for 1/72 scale.

Hi mates, added some more pics. I soldered 0,8 mm wire cause some parts were lost.

Hey Achim, great!! You´ve done a very good Job. I have an old roman ship at home. If you want, you can make some...Takelage...for me. 😉

Hi Acki,
I've overseen this nice built!
Everytime if I can consider a finished model out of this legendary Airfix kit, it isfor me like a journey through time back to my childhood!
Nice result, hope I don't need so many years like you did! 🙂
No joke! Your model is pretty nice!

Hi Dirk, thanks for your kind words. Now you know why I´m watching at your boat. A journey to the childhood is always an interesting trip.😉
