If the Trumpeter is anything like the Dragon/Gunze you will really enjoy it. It goes together well and very straight forward to build.

Hunter, I see this kit on E"vil"Bay fairly often. Do not overpay for it as it's pretty old. The Eduard PE really helps.

I've got a Jag V penciled in a couple of builds down the roadJagdpanther G1 Late (MT) (Dragon 6393, 1:35)
so I'll be checking out your build.
Unfortunately, the applicable photo etch update set for this kit cost over $40, so I'll pass on that.

Actually, yes. I decided to complete all of the PE before going further. I have just about gotten that finished. I just have the spare tread locks to insert and a few corrections left to do. I hope to knock those out this week. I will post pictures once all the PE is done.

cant wait for your pics 🙂 this week I started to finish my panthers - tank and tank hunter..but there are at 1/72 scale...🙂 so there will not be to much details like on yours 🙂

..That?s a pretty fair amount of PE. I?m re-thinking the stuff though. With the newer kits, the molded mounts and such look just as good. The fenders are another matter. But instead of spending upwards of $20 just to get metal fenders I?ve been making my own out of brass sheet. One piece of brass sheet costs about $5 and can provide fenders for many vehicles???..
Anyway, your Jadg V looks great so far and am looking forward to seeing your paint job.
