Added new pictures, it's not pure withe, it's an offwhite.
The light makes it look like pure white.
The vallejo paint is cookieproof, means, even an idiot like me who causes cookiecrumble like zits on the surface, because his airbrush was not clean enough, can remove the evidence with 3000 sandpaper.
The crumbles you see are almost not visible, damn you macro.
I need to work fast, I need this to be done till weekend.

Looking good. Be careful when you install the rear decals, especially the red stripe, its a real pain to line up correctly. You might want to just save yourself the hassle and paint it on.

I got 2 decal sheets, I don't have the right red here, so I will try my best,

The paint keeps peeling off.
I've had it with this bloody paint peeling, it's the 3rd time now.
And now even the primer comes of.
I tried to sand the edges where the paint peeled of, not working, makes it even worse and the paint pulls even the primer off the plastic.
And as I threw it in the bin, a wing broke of and it's impossible to glue it back on the kit in the right angle.
Long story short: because of my own stupidity, and the crappy paint shoice, I've wasted 22 Euros.

Started to apply the decals, but I could not find the USB cable for my camera, so no pictures.

If I can get my hands on some Items that I like and can afford, yes I do. And thanks for the link Fabian.

I worked on the show and have some items, not really valuable but may be of interest to you. Some "sides" which are miniature scripts that outline the scenes for the day's filming, things like that.

Oh cookie, do not preach the religious doctrine of the inevitable failure of every person whenever he dares to reach those heights, which are reserved for the gods!
YOU CAN DO IT!😢
26 June 2014, 11:47

Really, I have no Idea how to do this. And I think, I don't have the equipment for this.

I think i will leave the Viper like it is now, I'm afraid I I start expirimenting, that Iw ill ruin it.
26 June 2014, 21:56

hello duncan, you can also use first an old model to test the techniques. 🙂 this model was once of my test-objects: X-wing Fighter | Album by berni (1:100) It is a snap kit that i make older with washing. be brave 🙂

Duncan, I am with you. If you are happy with the look of your Viper just leave it as it is. 👍👍👍
27 June 2014, 10:27

It is done! It is by far not perfect, there are some big mkistakes in it, but I will leave it be.
