Very nice choice! I've been wanting to do the same, and in-flight also. Now, because you are doing it, I cannot do it 😄 I wasn't aware that the Revell boxings had the Kormorant missiles in them?

unfortunately, this Tonka won't be finished by the deadline 🙁

Brandon, I guess it's not up to me but up to all the modellers participating in this groupbuild... I plan to finish her in early May.

I guess I could be finished by then... at least the aircraft if not the base

damn, a few days ago I accidentally spilled a little bit of Future on my desk and I thought I cleaned it all and yesterday when I decided to decal this monster, noticed some of it got soaked by decal paper and destroyed several decals. And to top it off, the good decals that I tried to apply, had some sort of a film (glue?) under them which was flaking off and creating white specks under the carrier film - I guess the price I paid for using old decal sheet... Now I have to find new aftermarket set 🙁

Unfortunately the decals problems delayed me too much, to finish by the deadline... Hoping to get this one finished by the end of the month - it is taking too long as it is...

I´m sorry about your decal issue!
But the rest of this Tornado looks absolute cool!
"Die Luft über der See gehört dem MFG!"😄
What kind of decals do you need? Stencils?

Well Holger, that's the modelling life... some kits just cause trouble, like they are jinxed or something. With the purchase of HaHen decals, I got all the decals that I need, but I am leaving to Prague tomorrow until Monday, so no modelling for me till Tuesday

Hey Seb, please tell me about the HaHen decals, i always heard just the best about them!

For ALPS decals, they look really good and sharp. They are a bit transluscent though, which especially shows on white decals on grey background and German flag on the tail for example. Stencils are a bit on the thick side as well, but they come precoated, so you can use them right away. By my judgment, you get at least 2 full sets of stencils and markings for several different aircraft from MFG1 and MFG2. Carrier film is also very thin and settles nicely into panel lines.
