Hello to all,
our latest new supply for 1/35 are these concrete obstacles. Those hedgehogs were of Czech production. The German forces used them everywhere in Europe, from East to West, also during the campaigns in Normandy.
Our obstacles are manufactured in ceramic which brings a lot of advantages: Due to the grey full casting you already have a basis color. The painting with water-based colors is quite simple. Our tip: Finish painting first, use different colors when the prior one is still wet - so you get fantastic floods of different colors (in our diorama we used a dark grey, olive and light brown color). After everything is dry use a cutter and break some parts out of surface. The material below is lighter and that create a very realistic look.
