Hi Brad,

That was a mother-in-law apartment! Now I wish I was a mother-in-law.... that is a modeler

It's pretty comfortable, but a little tight on space. My last workshop took up half our basement in our last home, maybe 600 ft/sq. Had lots of room to spread out and create 'stations' for painting, parts fabrication and casting, machining, and primary assembly....

Brad, Very nice digs. I am struggling with reno's at present and its great to see what others are doing for their man caves. I have not figured out the paint scheme for my cave....Catch Ya, Logan

@Bill, I haven't had a problem yet, but I mentioned it to my wife and she was confident that the sliding glass door/windows on her level would provide enough ventilation. We'll see soon enough...current project on the bench is getting close to primer and Alclad...that ought to be a pretty decent stress-test for the airflow through the building.

Really nice setup! love the stash, how long did it take to put it together and how many models do you have in the stash?

Well, the stash manager says I have 445 kits, so I'm an amateur by most accounts. The workshop actually didn't take too long. The building was pre-existing and just required moving all my garbage in. The garbage, however, has taken 40 years to accumulate.

Album info
Just finished moving everything into the new work space, originally a mother-in-law apartment behind our house. My wife has the upstairs as a sewing room, and the bottom is all mine.
