Thanks guys, I'm hoping to get some serious modelling time over the Christmas period. As they say best laid plans and everything 🙂

Few pictures of completed cockpit. Bit of a struggle aligning the resin/etch aftermarket parts into the restricted space but managed to get it all together.

Cockpit looks great! Can't imagine doing the framing without a mask!

Hi Martyn, very nice start on the Blenheim. The cockpit looks very nice and detailed. Looking forward to your progress! By the way, there is a small gap to see between the fuselage and cockpit part - photo 11?! Would you close it?

Thanks guys.Definately need a mask on this one Gordon. Christian, I'll have to fill the gap,it was a bit of a fiddle fitting all the parts with the aftermarket pieces🙂

Hello Martyn, this one looks really great! All the aftermarket parts have been well worth their money! I am looking forward to new pictures- great work!

Looks great Martyn. The cockpit turned out very well and looking forward to the exterior finish. 👍

Few more pictures added, kit is now varnished and ready for decals. It's definitely worth getting the aftermarket parts for the cockpit,as there's quite a lot of cockpit perspex.

Good paint work Martyn. Looking forward to the rest of the job.

Looking very good! I would like to build a Blenheim in Finnish colors to go along with my other 1/72 Finnish fighter aircraft (unbuilt). I hoped to get some model work done over Christmas holidays, but it didn't happen. May be New Years?

You should go for it Bill. There seems to be loads of aftermarket sets available, especially decals.Ive actually managed to get a far bit of modelling in,but I tend to be a very slow in my processes.

Wonderful result Martyn. I really like your first output in 2015!

Thanks Christian. I now looking at my stash for some inspiration as to what to start next although I've got a Tasca Sherman ready for painting.

Thanks guys. John, it was a really well engineered kit by Airfix and a joy to build. The only testing part of the build I found was cockpit Perspex where aftermarket masking is a must.

Thanks , Martyn I was hoping that it would fit well together. I have one in the stash and at least 6 of the old airfix ones. Yeah I guess I will be buying masks for mine as well.

Congratulations on finishing, Martyn! The finished product looks great 👍

They all are! Like the new 109, the other Blenheim, the Do-17 or the Harrier😉 And there are coming a lot more this year😉
