Thanks for the positive feedback Guys - it really means a lot to me. I have the Hobby Boss M4A3E8 with Gasoline tracks and the correct turret for the period nearing completion and the Tamiya BMW R75& sidecar on the bench at present but I am painfully slow at completing them...

Hi Kees, I used Golden Gel Medium 'Crackle Paste' which I bought from an art shop... it took a couple of attempts to get the result I was looking for - its a bit unpredictable as to how it cracks as it dries out but it does work very well.
