I' m really impressed by your creativity and skills, this looks wonderful. Probably inspired by Mark Brandis, or am I completely wrong.....

Thanks Choppa and Hanno. I heard the name Mark Brandis before, but read never a book from him.
It was more or less a trial and error method with Instant soup cups, Instant coffee lids and pieces from the spare parts box. The name of the vessel is a homage at one of my favourite scifi authors.
The destroyed vessel at the base is the troop carrier from "ALIENS"🙂

"that aint no moon"
"I think you're right, Chewy, full reverse thrusters..." 😄
How long is the model out of curiosity ?

Hello Choppa. The "spaceship" is 653 millimeters long from stem to stern.😉

Wow, very nice and cool work Dieter 👍 I lift my hat for so much inspiration to build such an epic model just from your mind 👍
@Hanno, I do not heard about Mark Brandis since the late 70s. I read a lot of books form our library! Very cool story at that time!

How I could overlook them?????????? Wooooooow. Great idea, realisation, painting, finish, wethering, "Inscenesetzing" 🙂 and photography.
By the way: Supen gibts bei uns meistens aus der Dose aber ab morgen warden keine Joghurtbecher mehr weggeschmissen🙂

I love the model and I love the name – Asimov is one of my favourite authors as well, I'm re-reading his 'Foundation' series at the moment (book no. 4). That first photo is excellent.

wow!!!! great model and excellent photography!
foundation... i read all (or almost) 20 years ago... the original trilogy was simply fantastic. i should try to read them in English instead of translated as i did back in the days...

Spanjaard: The first three books seem very dated now, still, a good story is always a good story. The fourth book (Foundation's Edge) I have enjoyed rereading the most.

Thanks mates. I have also read the first three books of the foundation story. Philip K.Dick is als one of my favourite authors. Especially the short stories.

I don't read much Scifi these days, but when I did, Philip K.Dick was my favourite.
