Donald Dickson IINice work! A couple things.
I did this kit as well, though it was the George W Bush plane. I had a hellish time with the intakes and the canopy absolutely would NOT go in in the closed position. Did you experience the same?

And I built mine with both racks of missiles down as well. But, I was told by a former pilot that they could not go down both at the same time as a safety measure.

Oleg Bogoleii did it as well and yes, the canopy in this model is like from another one) i cuted protuberances in the back of the canopy and glued them separately and everything became ok) another problem was to connect upper and lower parts of the wings. intakes was good enough

Donald Dickson IIYeah, i didnt feel like having to cut the canopy apart after having dealt with the wings and intakes. Disappointing for a supposed top notch kit.
