It's a great fitting resin kit, a little heavy in the upper body (anime) but great fun to build and paint

I like the tone of the skin! Not that dramatic on highlights and shades but still not monochromatic. How did you achieve that?

Thanks mates! My second figure kit so I'm hoping it passes muster!
the skin tones are all Vallejo paints. I sprayed up from below in all undercuts, shadowy areas with 7.845 sunny skin tone and 70.955 flat flesh then mid tones with 70.835 salmon rose then down from above with 70.928 light flesh then light flesh mixed with white for cheek bones forehead knee caps etc. then overcoated the whole thing with thinned 70.928 to blend the colours.

Hi Alec, thats just paint, I was thinking of gloss clear coating the high points such as shoulders and thighs to suggest sweaty damp skin but decided against (less is more?) so yes, the sheen is just the paint. Although, I did flat coat (Vallejo) the barb wire tattoo.

I think it's the highly thinned Vallejo 70.928 blend coat that gives it the sheen.

Very cool, thanks for the explanation Chris. It looks really great 👍.
@Patrick: sorry, did not mean to steal your inquiry...

Don't worry Alec! We're all here to learn. 😉 And yes, I learned a lot in the last few comments! 👍

E2046 resin kit Chris, or one of their 'clones'? Good skintone finish! 👍

Thank you Spanjaard
Hi Derek, thank you. Yes I'm fairly sure it's a clone but, the great fit and insignificant pour stubs makes it a real work of art, I almost missed the pour stub on the right hand it's so small
