AMK Fouga CM.170 Magister OOB build

Sanding injection points. 

Some interior parts ready for painting.

Cockpit is ready. 

Ready to close the fuselage. 

Fuselage closed. 

Engines installed. 

Engine covers and air intakes installed. 

Last time to see the interior details. Time to close the belly. 

Canopies are masked. 

Ready for prime.  

Black basing completed with Vallejo black surface primer. 

First layer of marbling done with Tamiya XF-2 flat white. 

Minor marbling with Tamiya XF-74 olive drab and XF-4 yellow green. Some more shadows with Mr. Hobby Aqueous H310 brown. 

Lower surface painted with H308 gray. 

H53 Neutral Gray applied with freehand technique.  

H64 Dark Green applied with freehand technique too. 

Some canopies installed and orange pattern applied with H14 orange. Engine air inlets also painted. 

 

Waiting for clear coat and decals. 

Decals are done. Next is panellines. 

Lower fuselage oil streaks completed. My first oil color experience. 

Panel lines and filtering, weathering done.
