Yes, the quality of the Hobbycraft line was spotty. I've had some REAL dogs, and some brilliant kits. This one, and the DHC-3 Otter were both a pleasure to build. Lots of crisp surface detail, fit was very good, instructions good, and the decal quality excellent.
