Ferrari 458 Italia - Fujimi 1/24
Comentarios
Album info
My latest project is the Ferrari 458 Italia, 1/24 scale from Fujimi.
The 458 is currently top of my real car Wish List, however I am just an Engineer; little chance of actually buying one now, so I will settle for a smaller version.
None of my projects are strictly OOB, however I intended this one to have minimal changes, mostly just upgrading existing parts and adding some detail here and there. Spent a lot of time on the interior, not the least of which being to make the seats separate parts. The kit parts have the seat bottoms molded with the cockpit floor. This is a pain for painting and detailing, so I cut along the bottom edge of the floor to separate everything, then made a new floor from PS sheet, and was able to cut out the seat bottoms, and join the seat bottom/top parts to make them a separate unit. Details of Revisions/Additions/Corrections/Updates are listed below.
All in all, reasonably happy with the outcome.
