It has been pretty good so far. There was a rather large step where the radaitor scoop met the fuselage, and that was after sanding the base down before installing it. But I sanded it down and puttied it, so it should be ok. That is the only issue I have had with it so far.

Yes it is under the paint. I won't get any bench time at all this weekend. Did not know I got voluntered to help my son cut down dead trees this weekend and cut them up into firewood. Did that all day today and will be at it again tommorow. So maybe Monday if I am luckly.

Looking good! What clear coat did you use?
I feel you about the three shopping, I've been spending a good portion of the past 3 weekends raking leafs, burning small branchs and cutting big branchs on some trees on my back & front yard.

I used future for the gloss coat, and then future mixed with Tamiya X-21 flat base for the dull coat. The flat coat is Michael Phillips formula.
