The lightest colour seems to be even lighter in real life.. 

Compared to Kopro  

more tryouts.. 

It remains a personal touch, depending on light, scale and a lot of other things.. I think I know which colours I will be using..

The reason why there is so much trouble getting these 3 parts of the intake trunk fixed..  

Another view. Drill out the holes for these as well to 1,1mm. It helps a lot!

Restarting this horrible kit..  

Only 3-4 indentations per door 

That worked like a charm. Thinned Future with green ink thinly sprayed on the inside.  

 

 

 

 

Much more detail. But doesn’t fit to GWH without a lot of shaving off the right corners etc. Not easy.  

 

Option 1 colorwise. Seems to be the best mix with the tail decals. Planning to use my own cut masks for the camo..  

Primed and painted with Mr Paint 38.  

 

 

 

I should have checked the size.. way too big.

i do like the look of things, despite nobody knowing the exact pattern.. pics of 619 show different patterns as well. 

A helluva of work.. tedious, annoying and discovering the red white blue tail most probably will not fit either..  

 

 

Day 2 of airbrushing. Needless to say it’s a lot of work. Tedious and meticulous. But so far quite happy with it.  

What a beautiful day it was. After Max Verstappens fourth, most of the digital camo is done. The nose being particularly difficult to do due all kind of curves.  

 

 

 

 

Big lines are done. Some small improvements necessary. And all will fall together when the 0619 and shield will be on. Both by decals.  

 

But also.. a lot of touching up is necessary as well. Red paint is such a pain!  

After a grey mask and correction mask for some white areas.  

Way better than the kits pylons, these are Reskit 0402 & 0403.
Reskit 0402 has APU-470 (2) and APU-73 (4)
Reskit 0403 has APU-470 (2) and APU-60 (4)

Needed are 2 of each... APU-470 (2) and APU-73 (2) and APU-60 (2)... 

So, I bought both sets.. and can save another modeler perhaps some money with the same combination of 2-2-2 as well. Just drop me a PM.  

Fixed the red overspray today be respraying the last part of the inner tail surfaces. Quite some work, but luckily I can prefabricate those masks easily. 

 

Happy. The small overspray of the red and blue will be solved by home made decals of 1x1mm. Masking will not work.  

Soon the remaining areas will be airbrushed. Antenna covers, nose, anti-glare panel etc.  

 

 

With Mr paint 47 for diëlectric panels.  

 

 

Shining after a Future coating.  

 

Able to breathe again.. it fits.

The PE parts didn't quite fit, but so far so good.
