Couple winches and the controls 

Assembled the wheels and did a little mock up. Fits so far.  

Tiny treadplate but nice detail 

Most of the winch control tower done tonight.

Applied decals to the interior tub tonight, getting ready for cab assembly 

Some more parts painted.  

Hood cab and winch tower finally assembled to the chassis.  

Windows masked for final coatings  

Did a dusting of color and then flat clear for great results!  

Finished up the truck today.

I took it to a show this weekend and pulled a second place in the wheeled armor division. I'm happy.  

It's been sitting on the "someday I'll finish it pile" for way too long. Nov 6th 2022 I finished the truck. 

Well, here we go. Time to finish this beast up. Look at all those parts! 

Starting with the gooseneck hitch. 

Lol at all the hydraulic hoses. Look fast.

Detail the crap out of it and then cover it up forever.

107 parts to this little 6 inch sub assembly. More parts in this assembly than most car kits!  

10 identical sprues of suspension parts.  

All wheel steering, yes. 

 

Even tiny parts have tiny weeks lines on them.  

 

Keeping the slab flat. 

 

 

Working spring loaded suspension. Yes, springs come in the kit.

Getting there.  

All 10 suspension arms, 20 brake drums, and 40 wheels assembled. 330 pcs here.

Getting those suspension arms hosed up. 

Plastic, primed, and then painted.

I'm getting close to done. I didn't think I'd ever see the day.

All the suspension arms installed with hydraulic lines, brake drums, wheels, and tires. That took a few days.

Threads on the tie rods. 

Just about finished.  

Test fit. King pin doesn't fit in the 5th wheel.. 

And I'm calling it done! 

All the decals are on and everything is installed.

Had to set something up on the chest freezer. 

Nice looking load but I think the dozer will look better. 

 

I'm happy it's done. Close to 3 years in the making! 

 

 

Took home 2nd place at the 2025 Cedarville show today.
