Decals are now on. They are all from the spares box as the decals that came with the kit disintegrated into lots of pieces when added to water. 🙂
Merry Christmas mates! 👍

Four underwing bombs attached, propeller and engine cowling added as well. 🙂
Thanks Djordje for the kind comment. The kit would have to be a lot older to be as old as me!! 🙂
Thanks Djordje N & Rui DS for your likes and interest. 👍

One day I'll try one of these, apart from the Dinah and Zero that's about my knowledge/interest of IJN/A aircraft 😂

I now declare the Aichi D3A2 Type 99 Model 22 completed. The underside large bomb, the cockpit and other odds and ends added. Vallejo black wash used for the top and Ammo Storm grey wash for the underside.
Finally the rigging was added. 🙂
The aircraft was meant to be from 35 Kokutai in 1943 but as the decals fell apart, this is a fictional representation. 🙂
Thanks for the kind comment Bernd. 👍
@ Andy: The main reason I like to build IJA/IJN aircraft is that I haven't done them before, they seem more unusual and researching them is that much more demanding. I'm sure that you will get around to them... 👍
Thanks for the like and interest Andrew B. 👍

The more I see what you people make out of these plane kits the more I feel tempted to go back to my first love.
