MyCollection French Decals ABT of the 60's and 70's

Good morning ,
Let me introduce myself: I am a former model maker who began his career by reading the first issues of Maquettes Plastique Magazine and the sections of Mister Kit in Spirou, all around 1972.

20 years later, around 1990-1992 I took an interest in the decals produced by Max Abt in a traditional but very professional way between 1965 and 1975
At that time the production had ceased but these deals were still found in the shops, and I started to collect them as an interesting collection.

30 years later, I was able to write a monograph of 290 pages (at least because it is still enriched) on the subject, extremely well illustrated.

She understands
- the list of all known (and unknown) ABT decals produced, the presentation of each with the identified variants
- quite a few copies of technical documents made by Max Abt and used by him for the production and which I was able to save from destruction around 2010 by extraordinary chance)
- the dating of the production of the boards
- the list of "tints" (paints) produced by Max ABT
- reproductions of a whole bunch of ABT catalogs for dealers or customers
- extensive research of model articles or advertisements published in Airfix Magazine, Le Fana, MPM, Spirou and Tintin (Mister Kit) between 1965 and 1980
and even some texts by Max ABT ...

As you can guess, it was a very long-term job and required a lot of patience to unearth any new little info!

All this fits in 46 files in the universally known pdf format for about 160 MB of data
